If you have a deep love of all things Texas, then Nissan has the perfect pickup for you. Introduced at the State Fair of Texas was an optional package for the 2017 Titan range.
Everything is bigger in Texas and the amount of aesthetic accessories in the Texas Titan
is no different. Unfortunately, the pickup won’t be getting more power with the package. The standard Titan half-ton will still be sporting a 390 hp 5.6-liter V8 engine and the Titan XD Crew Cab is still going to house a 310 hp Cummins 5.0-liter V8 turbo-diesel under the hood.
Available with the standard Titian and Titan XD Crew Cab in both 4x4 and 4x2 drive configurations, the package will come with lots of chrome including the front bumper, exclusive six-spoke 20-inch wheels, side steps, and exhaust.
On the other hand, the package’s interior will only be getting a set of floor mats. Capping off the list of accessories are trim-specific badges which features the Texas state outline with a lone star in the middle.
Nissan has not released the Texas titan package prices or availability, but like most lone star models from other automakers, we probably won’t see this chrome decked pickup outside of Texas.
