Fuel lock cap?

Where I live it's good to have a lock fuel cap. But have looked everywhere and realize there is no fuel lock cap for the XD diesel.

One solution is to drill a hole for a key lock cylinder on the fuel door flap.
All different styles of weather proof key lock cylinders are a dime a dozen.

Any other ideas?

honestly that may be your best bet, sucks that they havent started making locking fuel doors a thing on trucks yet.

Or, maybe measure the diameter of the fuel cap on the titan xd and see if there are any for sale that are the same size. Worth a try before you drill.

I really need to get a locking fuel door or locking caps for the DEF fluid and Diesel tank soon. Any updates on this?

I'm thinking about drilling a hole in the fuel door to accommodate a locking devise and latch. Too busy now, though, to work things out.

i contacted stant - they want pictures of my current fuel cap, which i will be sending them (with a ruler scale on the side, top, and bottom), to see if they currently make one that will fit - they also said that they have a def locking cap in the works - will post what they come up with about the fuel filler cap when i get it.

A company as big as Stant can't contact a Nissan dealer and order a cap?
Or even the filler necks?

also, just ordered from same ebay site stant 10525 locking def cap - $14 and change - will let you know if it fits properly - stant wasn't very helpful about that.

cant exactly blame stant ... they two they sold on this thread are probably about the only two titan diesel owners looking for them... ford, ram, or chevy owners would probably get more of their attention ..same with lotsa other vendors ....xxx
