Rear Window Leaking

I've owned my 2016 for just over a week. Had a pretty bad rainstorm here in Cincinnati this morning and had a fairly large amount of rain pour in from around the deal of the rear window. Anyone ever have this issue before? I've already got it scheduled for the shop this Wednesday so it'll get it taken care but I've never heard of such a new vehicle (15,000 miles) have a problem like this.

Buddy of mine at work has a 17 Nissan Titan (non-XD) and he had this problem. Dealer removed the window and re-installed. when they removed it they discovered the factory didnt put enough sealant compound on the top of the window frame and water was leaking thru.

Plenty of vehicles have leaking issues, the 1st Gen Titans had leaking issue with the back window. F150's have major sunroof leaking problems. I think Dodge has issues with the 3rd brake light leaking. Just take it to the dealer & let them fix it.

Almost all of the F150 will leak around the break light. Unfortunately I didn't notice mine until the carpet mildewed

Go onto any Jeep forum, it's a very common issue. Not saying it's OK, but it's not uncommon either.

Just pull the drain plug....

Get it fixed under warranty. Things like this happen to all vehicles and manufacturers, doesn't make it right, but it happens. In a couple years, when you see someone else complaining about leaking in their new Chevy, Ford, Ram, etc.. you can tell them all how your Nissan leaked too. BTW, some early XD adopters had issues with door seals leaking too.
