HEAVY towing

I finally got to test the XD with some big weight behind it and she was impressive. I had my JCB skid steer, bucket and CID swing backhoe attachment on the gooseneck. Total weight was around 14,000 pounds. The truck felt almost as stable as my 550 and pulled it just as well. I really love this truck the more I use it.

Right at the end of the project, I found a real hauling job the Titan XD could actually handle. I needed four yards of mulch, a yard of which weighed about 800 pounds fresh. A 6-foot bed can handle two yards, though ours has the optional bed boxes installed, which eat up some space. Technically with myself onboard, I over-grossed the truck by about 150 pounds each trip, but my mulch place is six blocks away and I never exceeded 25 mph—it was as safe as I could make it.
I don't know how this guy leaves the house. I load into my truck what fits.
This truck will haul MUCH more than 1700lbs or whatever it's rated at.

No airbags or Timbrens yet, really not sure that I need them. My regular gooseneck is a tri-axle, but had brake issues. I loaded it accordingly, putting more weight on the trailer and all was well. The truck is WAY over engineered. Screw the tow police! This truck is very capable to safely tow almost anything. The Tundra can tow the space shuttle, perhaps I can tow two!

Your insurance company and law enforcement might think differently in the event of an accident
And No, I'm not being the weight Police. It's just a highly unlikely reality but it's possible, kinda like this thread becoming evidence in a criminal charge.
Impressive load, that had to give the motor a nice workout it needed.

I'm not policing anything. Usually when people don't like to hear the truth they start to get defensive and try and change the subject, kinda like your comment. I'm sure the 2nd thing you would do if someone wiped out your family because they did something negligent would be to go after them for blood In anyway you possibly could, am I wrong ?
Take a moment & read the my whole 1st comment all the way through the last word, maybe you wouldn't be so reactive if you do that.
I completely agree that the XD is underrated but Nissan set the specs for many of reasons & one was for saftey of use on Public Roads. There are proper tools to use for every job, why not utilize whatever they might be.
