Transfer Flow just introduced a 50-gallon replacement fuel tank for the 2016 Nissan Titan XD! It almost doubles the fuel capacity of the stock 26 gallon fuel tank. You can contact us at 800-442-0056 for more information or visit our website for information on this fuel tank system.

Stupid question but can the bigger high speed pumps at the truck stops be used with the filler neck on the stock tank?

Nope won't fit. Gotta use a adapter to make it work.

That has my interest too.

There were only a couple of guys who showed forum interest to purchase one when I asked the question, and I'm not certain to what level the discount would apply.

For me, a mid-ship tank is ideal. My bed space is used for a variety of things, and loosing that space for some extra fuel capacity just isn't worth it. I currently carry a couple of jerry can's when towing the camper, but avoid using them as its a PIA and there is always a mess. I would spring for a larger tank, but the price point 25% higher than the big three truck tanks, and there isn't a dealer here in Canada that I can find, so shipping a larger item on my dime, converting US to CDN funds, I'm looking at nearly $2500 just to get a larger tank...just to much for me.

Titan tanks informed me they are in development mode for a tank for the XD as well. Maybe we'll see better pricing, maybe not. I personally have no issue with a coated steel tank, but I'm always going to shop around for the best deal.

I am ready to go ahead but not at $1650, freight and then the install. I had a 36 gallon on my last truck and that was great I can only imagine how great having a 50 gallon tank would be.

Unbelievable they'd put a car sized filler neck on a truck with a factory gooseneck hitch, as if a truck pulling a 30 foot trailer is going to always fit just fine at a gas station for cars.

I googled the nozzle adapter but it looks like only a VW kit comes up. Do they make a universal one?

Good to know. Thanks.

Yeah mom's old early 99 Ford powerstroke came with the car sized neck too but you can retrofit a high speed neck from the newer trucks. I thought on all diesel pickups that was pretty much a standard these days.
