Thinking of adding an auxillary fuel tank.

The XD fuel tank is too small for someone who tows an RV. Looking to add an auxiliary tank. Has anyone did this?

On this truck I have not. I think someone else has tho.
Mount a 60-75 gallon tank in the bed, then just fill up from the tank if you need to.
I've mounted tanks that gravity fed into the stock tank, but that was on an older carbed Ford.
Not sure how that would work on a fancy truck.

We install them on our F450 work trucks. They auto feed from the auxillary tank, in fact you don't even fill the factory tanks. You fill the aux tank instead. I'm sure they make a kit for the Titan.

RDS makes different sizes bed mounted tanks and installation kits. Don't know if they have kit for the Titan XD yet for tapping into the filler neck.

I think I'm going to go with this one, comes with everything you need. https://titanfueltanks.com/shop/trav...ystem-5410050/ I like the idea of using the vent line instead of cutting the filler neck hose.

A buddy showed me this last week and is thinking about installing one on his Ram 3500 for extra capacity. Doesn't tie into the fuel system like the others but it's easily removable. He said use a 10 GPM shaker siphon for transferring fuel.

Seriously considering one of these as well, looks like a perfect solution (other than a larger Oem tank) for those of us who need the extra capacity while sacrificing as little bedroom as possible. I regularity tow our camper with an ATV in the bed, so a tidy tank wouldn't work. I saw a tank that fits into the spare tire location from them that plumbs into the system the spare tire location, but they only cater to the big 3 at the moment.

if i end up purchasing, I'll post with install and reviews in this thread.

I sent them an email asking and they said no plans as of right now. It's too bad because they make a great quality tank.
