Best intake system

Ok I know alot of people views about afe intakes (too much money). I dont mind paying for a great functional product that's helps this truck, so we have the afe intake system, the s&b intake system and the original intake company k&n. I like the afe dynamic air scoop function. Just not sure what the best intake is for the best power, and sound

I'm with you I think the afe is the best thought out contructed intake. The S&b is right there behind it. K&n doesn't count. With that being said it looks like nissan did a good job with the factory intake. Doesn't seem like there's a huge performance increase in any of the intakes? I will probably still end up with an afe at some point.

The factory setup was designed to give the motor what it needs.

why bother with a aftermarket air intake if you have a d.p.f. in place .. you can only get so much exhaust throught the d.p.f. even if it had a very recent regen ... loose the dpf first then do the intake .. in its stock/existing config. its the pig with a cork in its ass phenomena... the more you feed it the sicker it gets ..xxx

I agree with AZPro4X & XXX it's of little performance value versus stock unless you plan on deleting. Just a waste of money, but it's your money.

I was kidding around....Don't take stuff personally. Besides waisting money is in the eye of the beholder....but I totally agree without a tune its really only a paperweight...a very nice looking one though!

Garage
I went with the afe and the scoop configuration. Not sure if I got any performance enhancement but it sure looks cool!
