6" lift - Calmini vs Rough Country

Curious who has the RC 6" lift and who has the Calmini 6" lift.

-What was the deciding factor as to why you chose what you chose?
-Now that you have it, what are your driving impressions?
-Has anyone managed 37 inch tires with their 6 inch lift?
-Would love to see pictures!

I contacted Calmini to get the instructions and of course you can look up rough country s instructions. You have to take a sawzall to the truck with RC and it seems like you only need to drill 1/2 hole (s) with Calmini. Either way I'm going to see what other companies offer.

I do not have any lift on my truck because I am waiting to see what BDS comes out with(who knows how much longer that will be). But just to give my two cents if it had to choose between the two I would personally go with Rough Country because I know a lot of people who have used their lifts, my brother currently has their 6 inch lift with lifted struts on his Ram 1500 and he loves it.

Fabtech also has a 6 inch lift out for the Titan, one member is in the process of getting it installed. I would look at that before RC or Calmini only because their kit offers coilovers, and coilovers are a lot better than strut spacers. The price is obviously more, but again your getting coilovers so the price is expected to be greater.

Just posted in the suspension forum that my 6" Calmini lift, Fuel Maverick wheels and Cooper 35's have arrived! Truckwurx in St. Charles, IL has another XD with the 6" Rough Country lift bing installed at the same time. I asked them for some honest feedback comparing the two lift kits. - Hopefully we get some good info!

Got the truck back with the Calmini 6" lift, Fuel Maverick 20x10 -12 offset. Cooper MTP 35x12.5x20 tires. Came out looking and riding good! Will have to order bumper Spacer as I've got a bit of rub. Will give the Cooper MTP's a few days, but they are loud, really loud. Possible swap for some Toyo Open Country MT's. Overall, truck looks like a beast!

Truck looks really nice. Like the lift on it - it makes these trucks look bada$$. Tires do look like they would be pretty loud.

Thanks man! I'm super happy with it. Gotta get my bumper Spacer installed to eliminate rub. Also swapping the coopers for Toyo's Open Country MT's or Nitto Trail Grappler's. These are just too loud! Love the look as it turned out!

What's the highest point of your truck measure with that setup? Leaning this direction but not sure she'll fit in the lean to portion of my barn. My f150 did with 3" and 34s no problem but this truck seems tall stock.
