70k miles, safe bet?

I'm on the brink of purchasing a 16 XD Diesel 4x4. With that I have a few questions.

1. Did all XDs come with 5year/100,000 miles bumper to bumper?

2. I'm purchasing used from the original owner. He has used it for personal use and occasionally to tow skid steers and the like for his business. He claims to have never had any check engine lights, def level derates, stop engine lights, or anything of that sort. At 70k miles, is it safe to if this engine would have failed, it would have failed already? Most folks seem to have issues around 10 to 20k miles... right?

Does the Platinum Res. Come with the electronic diff locker?

Thanks,
Yogi

Think hes moving it cuz big expense fixes warranty ended at 60k

Personally i dont care about warranty. Good care and truck will be worth money i spend.

Did this guy take good care? Maybe maybe not...

Yeah but they went back and gave it to some 2016’s. Best bet is to call Nissan with the VIN and ask.

The biggest question is "How much does he want for the unit"?

The dealer just offer me with my 2016 51k for 28k trade in for a new xd. Is it a good deal? my is 2016 and only has 60k/60months warranty. I got that confirm with the nissan corporation.

I'd check the book value of your truck in NADA or Kelley Blue Book, so you can plug in your specific vehicle. Honestly, if your truck's a good one, I wouldn't part with it - that's how I feel about mine.
