Well for one change lower file filter first then change upper filter, no prime in between. Secondly, I would go out and prime it about 3 or 4 times. I always do mine 4 times then go drive after the last one. I have never in 4 years had your issue.I went and hooked it up to a machine, there was no code. All it said was to service fuel system. I changed fuel filter under truck, primed 2x then changed fuel filter under hood and primed 2x. Is there something I’m missing? Why would that send it into reduced power mode?
Well there ya go, sounds like your neighbor is the perfect guy to have around right now lolOkay come to find out my neighbor is a semi mechanic, he put his personal code reader on the truck and it read a code p009e. A fuel pressure control circuit. So im narrowing it down.
I’ve done bottom first then top, then prime and I’ve never had an issueI'm not convinced.
I replace the top filter first, then the frame filter. I do one prime cycle and my truck starts normally afterwards. Fuel Filters done with every oil change.
