I've had the same codes thrown for two years for the turbo actuator. I've been back and forth thru the dealership for bandaid fixes (i.e flash ecm clear codes) it will throw check engine light then I'll lose power to 25mph max. I went to buy DEF last week and service manager said they just added turbo extended warranties. The warranty info is just above my fingers on page. I have an appt next Monday to let dealership confirm issue and order parts for repair. I'll update the process. I hope this helps someone.

I got a p226c yesterday it’s probably the turbos need replacing. I got my truck from a smaller dealer (not Nissan) 😟 gonna take it back today they’re pretty good at making things right. I wonder if Nissan would still cover it because of their extended warranty’s or not because I didn’t buy it from Nissan just asking to get some input. Good luck buddy

FYI there is a extended warranty on the turbo some thing about the pipe being solidered and it can crack and cause an issue Nissan has extended the turbo warranty to 150,000 miles. Also I don't have the sheet in front of me with the code but a while back I got a check engine light and took mine to Auto Zone they did their little hand scanner thing and came back saying it was some type of turbo delay response issue and I needed a new turbo. I have a friend that rebuilds turbos for trucking companies he said that is caused by several things like the DPE clogging up and not just the turbo. He suggested I use some Lucas "DIESEL" Deep Clean (not the regular but for diesel) it has stuff in it which will help clean the DPF. I dumped a bottle to 25 gallons of diesel and made a couple of one hour drives at highway speed and all the sudden I looked down and the check engine light was out! I checked it again with a code scanner no codes and I havent had another problem.

thank you 🙏 I’m gonna call Nissan on Monday. I think it was a select few of the trucks right? I’ll can and see if there going off vin numbers

Here is a copy of my letter I got from Nissan I have removed my information as well as my vin number. I hope it will help if you need something to show the dealer. As having owned Nissan Titans since 2004 I have learned some of the dealers either don't read the service bulletins or don't get them or choose to ignore them altogether!!!
