So for the last month, about every other day I was getting that 4wd abs error everyone was getting. I did research on here and it appears dealers were just handing out transfer cases. Well I didn’t feel like dealing with those crooks so I got underneath my truck and started inspecting plugs on transfer case. I noticed that one of the main plugs was zip tied super tight to the wires and weee making a horrible bend. So I cut loose the ties and straightened the wires that go into plug. Also I pulled the plug and reinstalled. It’s been almost 4 weeks now and no code haha. I’m betting money on it not one of those transfer cases that were replaced needed replaced. The wires were just kinked going into plug.

Cajun mentioned turning your 4wd on every once and a while and this worked for me. I took mine in 7 months ago and had the transfer case module replaced under warranty(truck was deleted as well) Then 2 weeks ago it came back on with 4wd error light 3 times in one 35 mile drive with me stopping the truck and restarting it to try to turn it off. Since I have been cycling it into 4wd hi it has not turned back on. Hopefully it stays as my truck is almost under warranty and had such a hassle with dealership don't want to go back.

It won’t come back on. Also I didn’t know but you can shift into 4wd high while moving, so just to make shit easier when I’m leaving the house in the morning I slap her in 4wd for about .5 mile just to let everything rotate, and then switch out without ever stopping. Haven’t seen error in idk 7 months?

Just FYI guys the Harness that's on the motor is also super tight and the wire connections to the injectors can sometimes be kinked causing the injector to fill the cylinder with diesel, hydrolocking the motor and breaking the crankshaft. Youtube CFT Performance he can explain it alot better, plus a easy fix to avoid this catastrophic event.
