Ran into a store to grab a bottle of water and came out a couple minutes later and started up the truck and the blower was not working. The display said it was working and it was not. I turned the system off and back on a few times and no change. I shut the truck off and on a couple times and no change. Then I checked the fuses and none were blown. So at this point I'm somewhat angry considering its 95deg out. So I put all the windows down and started driving down the road and it magically came back on like 1/2 mile down the road. Now I know sometimes it takes a bit before the blower begins to run BUT the display will match the blower speed. This instance showed the blower at max and nothing was coming out.

Anyone experience this yet?

No, I haven't experienced the problem you explained. But you sure are having an unusually high volume of issues with your truck. I hope Nissan is doing what they can to keep you satisfied. My truck has been flawless for some time now except for when a couple early 4wd warnings that came up but never showed again after the computer was cleared.

Nissan hasn't done a single thing to keep me happy. I swear this truck is like a black cat on Halloween.

My local dealer gave me a "free oil" change for the troubles and even then I fought for it because they wanted me to go to the place where I bought it which was an hour away versus the dealership that I've been taking it to because it's about 10min from my home.

I wish I would have just bought a Denali Duramax.

well I'm sorry you've had such bad luck. I've had quite the opposite experience with my dealer. Also I wouldn't take a duramax HD over this truck or a dodge cummins. few things that chevy does that just leaves me shaking my head like the location of the DEF tank. Its just plain in the wrong spot. few things they do great. But I would take a solid axle over a independent if I wanted a true HD truck anyday.

I think the GM DEF tank is quite a bit larger so you wouldn't have to fill it as often but yes, under the hood is annoying.

Hopefully the blower thing was a fluke. I've started the truck back up a few more times and haven't had the issue again.

Had this happen again. I ran into a store for 3-5min and I started the truck up and the blower wouldn't turn on. I didn't touch anything because I wanted to see if it would turn back on. So it's about 95deg+ outside and I get about a mile down the road and it does in fact turn back on. Meanwhile I'm sweating bullets because it had to have been well over 100deg inside the truck. This happened Friday. I've used the truck all weekend without issues. I have a feeling the dealer won't know how to fix it because they won't be able to replicate it.

Whelp, it went back out again. This time is probably the 4th or 5th time now and most times it will turn back on like a mile down the road. Not this time. My entire trip home from work it refused to turn on. Uploading a video now and I'll post it once it's available

Here's the link. Filmed with my iPhone so it might be hard to show people that the fan is not working, but.... Its not running at all. I have an appointment in the morning. I feel like I got a pre production model or something. It's such a piece of **** truck.

Just got to the gym. 20min drive and the blower didn't come on at all. I really hope it stays not working when I show up for service tomorrow
Maybe a stupid question, but did you try different blower speeds? Kinda sounds like a bad blower motor resistor. They can crap out for high, but work at slow speeds, or the other way around.

Update: a Nissan North America executive called me today and she's setting up an appointment for a "specialist" to go over my truck and asked me to put together a list of concerns so they can address all of them. Unfortunately this will have to happen after my vacation starting late next week because I'm not trading my truck for an Altima on a 12hr drive.

I know this is an old thread, but I just had the exact same issue. It was a quick fix, the nut that holds the fan blades on was loose. I pulled the blower motor off by removing the three screws and unplugging the connector. Once it was out I took the nut in the center of the fan blades off, washed the blades off in the sink, sprayed some white lithium grease into the motor to lubricate it, put the blades back on the motor and used an impact to make sure it was tight. Once I reinstalled the blower fan it works like a charm. 👍🏾

Looking at the service manual, is says you need to first remove the entire heating and cooling assembly first, which seems absolutley insane for a blower motor and I doubt that's neccessary. It appears the motor is simply held in with 3 bolts, and might need some wiggling or prying.
