Good afternoon, I have a 2017 Titanic xd 5.0 , it has been put on a diet, and straight piped to to the axle where it connects to the back section. I’ve been told that I need to replace the factory section at the back that has the holes it because it don’t scavenge the exhaust as well since that section has hole from the factory? Has anybody heard of this?

It has no significant effect on the exhaust flow, however it does help cool the exhaust. Not as relevant once deleted.
