Best Service in the South East

I wanted to start a thread for this region on Service. I live in North East TN and have not been too impressed with the diesel service I am getting at Tri Cities Nissan. I was wondering if others would weigh in for other regional dealers.

I live in Alabama and recently went to the dealer in Montgomery for a fuel filter - when I told him what I needed, the dude at the parts counter looked at me blankly and told me what most of their vehicles used. I had to give him a parts number for him to look the filter up. I'm not going back there unless it's to buy parts - that basic lack of knowledge is alarming.
I use Scott Clark Nissan in Charlotte, NC. They have been pretty good in getting me in on time and out as they promised.... Parts guys seem to be on top of things too.

I went for the transmission fluid change and the service writer argued that I didn’t need it. I had to get my personal service manual out from truck to proof it. These guys do not their product!

At what mileage does our manual recommend this?

Alos, Sutherlin Nissan in Cherokee County, GA ( Metro ATL) is great! Both Adam & Nate are easy to work with.

20k. I will say it is hotly debated if it absolutely necessary.

I'm up in Tuscaloosa, any experience w/ the one here? I test drove a '17 XD this week, the salesman was a typical salesman... Other than that, I did like the truck. My sister has a frontier and hasn't had any issues with the service department, but, that's a gasser so.... can't really compare.

Hey, man - I haven't tried Tuscaloosa yet, but it might make a good alternative to Montgomery, seeing as how it's about the same distance away. To be honest, if I have anything major I'm probably heading to Mobile - they have a lot of XD's in stock and I'm betting they're more familiar with 'em. Let me know if you try Townsend for service, eh?
Will do. Thanks for the mobile tip. I’m going to check their inventory. Not much up here in this area. Townsend has 1 or 2. Benton has 1 and it’s 2wd.

This is good to hear. I just bought my truck form them a few weeks ago and the purchase process was pretty easy. I do most of my own work but anything warranty I will have them handle. I'm still a little nervous about the diesel techs since they probably don't work on too many.
Cool grew up in Bristol va. That I consider my home Town!! But I got mine in Knoxville at Fenton Nissan.

Since moved to Georgia. And used nalley Nissan in Cummings. Liked them alot.

But sadly moved again and haven't found a place I liked.
