Hi All, i'm getting 18-19.5 mpg ave, highway/city combined about 50/50. I towed my 5K lbs toy hauler from atlanta to almost alabama (about 100 miles) and im getting 14.6 mpg (65-70mph speed). Does anyone experience this good fuel economy? after reading posts i'm doubting my result lol. Next time I tow again I will hand-calculate to be sure but I'm a happy camper with my fuel results so far. My truck currently have 350 miles.

Hand calculate. Also, when you say toy hauler, do you mean enclosed trailer? That's a very light toy hauler if so. 14.5 would be a world record for any diesel, so I doubt it's accurate

Enclosed toy hauler/rv 5K lbs empty. I think I may have forgot to reset before I did the trip, I find it hard to believe myself. I will test it again and will also hand calculate.

That's what I'm getting. I did 15.6 with an enclosed trailer and cargo, all in all about 5000 lbs. This was about 300 miles over Western I90 and back.
