2016 XD Pro-4X
I have the old crankshaft part number with an engine build date of 2016-07-12. I just deleted and tuned at 42,500 miles and a fresh batch of oil. Zero engine related issues so far with a healthy combo of city/interstate driving. Mostly a daily commuter but have also done some towing, to include 13k pound bumper pull across multiple states....on completely stock set-up. I plan on pulling oil analysis at 5,000 deleted/tuned miles.
Thanks for responding. Please share your analysis when you do it.

I have a 2016 that I bought in NJ in Feb 2016 and broke a crankshaft at 68k. The Mfg date on the engine was 10/2015 and the original crank number from Cummins' site is 4359940. They replaced it with a new long block in October 2018 so it looks like the new one I have now is the revised model 5462513. I currently have 25k on the revised crank and haven't has an issue yet but I am still leery.

Do the oil analysis every oil change to give you a piece of mind or at the very least indicate an issue before it happens.
