Delete in limp mode

Does anyone know if I can do the ez lynk while the truck is in limp mode? Or do I have to get it back to functional factory settings?

It should work in limp mode.

You can delete in limp mode because the ezlynk will be clearing the ecm and rewriting the tune telling the truck everything is good to go. Why is it in limp mode, though?
