EGR Cooler Has a Leak on 2019 XD

Just picked up my truck from dealer, had the Low coolant flow MIL and reduced power. They said the EGR cooler has a leak in it and the part is on order. No ETA. I thought the EGR/EGR Cooler was updated prior to 2019? Thanks!

That is a bummer! Yes, supposedly they were "strengthened/redesigned slightly" sometime in 2017. But it seems even the later ones sometimes fail with far fewer miles than you'd expect. It is pretty pathetic really. Sorry for your troubles.

How many miles for reference?....
Just rolled past 45K. Already had 2 cab off/pull engine to repair an engine oil leak. Multiple "Electrical Gremlims" that are fixed with "pin fitment" adjustments........Everything paid for by warranty. I'm trying not to give up on the truck.........but Geeeeeez!
My 2016 EGR was probably bad from day one and blew it guts at 69K now and 80K it looks like something in the transfer case has gone. I drop it at the dealer today. I have a feeling it's something on the input shaft. We shall see; this truck has been a real love it but dread it vehicle.
I bought my early 2017 model in March of 2018. It only has 3400 miles on it. 12-14 dealership mechanic notes or whatever on it. Was for sell there for 6 months. Such a killer deal so I bought it. 93k miles and I’ve never had a problem. Seems like you just have to get all the kinks out of it first. I was lucky 🍀
My '19 is in the shop right now for a "complete" emissions system..... After the egr cooler went (replaced @ 42k) they didn't bother to check the filters, so now @ 44k they are replacing all the sensors in the exhaust, the dpf, and the catalytic converter. It's been at the shop for a couple weeks since diagnosis and it seems the only part that hasn't shown up is one of the sensors, haven't been given an eta on that yet....

You're using pictures from CFT's kit while also making ridiculous claims with mislabled parts. This is obviously a scam.

Dealer fix mine 3 times on my 17. All under warranty. 45k miles. Thinking they need a new tech 🤔
Dealer mechanics are just about useless on the diesel Titans. Also, our EGR coolers are shit by design, so that doesn't help either.
