My Titan XD has a little less than 1000 miles and I noticed that it burned
just a little more than 2 quarts of oil...
Is this normal for a new engine?.

Tanks in advance

Bad heads, Bad turbo?

Warranty work to be done. Though this is the first oil loss I've heard of in this truck.

UPDATE!!....
Although I waited over an hour to check the oil, it was still low.
I let it set overnight and the next morning it read right to the top.
Looks like it REALLY drains down SLOWLY!!
Damm you Nisson!!!!....But I Love you!!!!

Went by the Dealership and spoke with the shop Foreman, who has been to the Cummings School and he said there was a check valve that will retard oil
return to the sump unless the oil temp was at normal temp.

Take it For What it's Worth.

The manual does say something about letting the truck sit off for like 10-15 minutes before checking the oil. Maybe this is why?
