So I was finally contacted by a rep from a Nissan dealership here in Miami. She said they are officially out however they don't have any on the lot go figure. She asked me what model I was interested in and I told her pro4x. I then asked how much. She replied to me she just had black one for 40k. Then I asked mpg. She replied 15 city 21 hwy with 17 combined. Not bad but I was hoping for 23+ hwy.

She is lying. They are not officially out. Nissan has not even come out with pricing on the vehicle. and a Pro4X is going to be more than $40,000. The 2015 Titan Pro4X is more than that. You are obviously talking to someone who doesn't have a **** clue.

That doesn't sound right. I think some people are being contacted by dealerships that will be getting in a handful of trucks because they can specifically request certain trucks or may already know which trucks are coming and they are looking to sell them immediately. Other dealerships will only be getting in one as a display and then you have to order them. How many each dealership gets in will vary because it depends on the dealership and what their sales performance has been previously. (According to the dealerships in our area). You can call the dealerships now to find out how many they will be receiving and even possibly the versions, at least here in the states. This woman may be getting a black Pro4X in, but to quote you an exact price seems wrong at this time.

I can tell you that the Pro-4X is not allocated to be released until at least March or April and there will be no 4X4 Titans released in the first couple of shipments. Also the Pro-4X will have a price tag of around $52k-$55k

Nissan has been trumpeting the big yellow Pro-4X but will not have a 4x4 available at initial launch? They should fire their entire marketing department and hire someone from Apple.

I just got off the phone the dealership in Post Falls. We have an agreement to touch base each Friday for any updates - which of course there never are any! I did ask the "Titan Specialist" that I have been dealing with why the dealerships in the South aren't getting 4 x 4's and again, he said it's all about allocations according to districts and sales. (of course you already know that). I'm not sure if that means that more 4 x 2's are actually sold in the South? The district that Post Falls is in is 7% of the market and his dealership has the most sales out of that entire district. That's why they will be getting a fairly substantial amount of trucks. I guess for those interested in what trucks are coming to your area, you have to contact the various dealerships to find out who is selling the most trucks. The ones with the higher percentage of sales will be getting the most trucks.

Nissan you have dropped the ball yet again on this truck. you should fire whomever is in charge of this new titan from production to marketing......
They didn't listen to us and this is what happens. What they should do if they haven't already is have a look at what people on this forum have to say, a lot of posts here that should be of concern to them.

Ok, so they are trying to gain a more substantial percent of the truck market with this truck. Yet they are only supplying dealerships with high truck sales numbers based on the previous generations sales? That seems counter intuitive. We want to sell more trucks but will only cater to those areas where our truck has been bought before. It would make more sense to supply areas where people buy trucks in general (not just Titans). I live in Louisiana and its bull that they won't have a 4x4 or pro4x model available here.

My understanding the xd is to fill a void and create a bit of new segment. The non xd is to be the volume seller and where they really want to capture market share.

Well it would be stupid not have pro4x and 4x4 here in south Florida right away since I live right next to the number on dodge dealership in the Southeast and one of the biggest ford dealerships in the countryq

I wouldn't get to wound up about purely speculative information. This is the Internet and whatever you read on this forum you have to take with a grain of salt. Nobody really knows pricing or availability until it happens. I can bet they'll have 4x4s on the lot across the country.

Im calling B.S. on this post...unless you can articulate how many trucks are in a "shipment". I'm hopeful on the price though.

guys (and gals) remember, dealership rep's know absolutely jack sh1t when it comes to nissan. theres two examples of this in this thread alone. Assuming the one poster is a dealership person, seems like it.

I agree. I think that the entire south isn't going to be denied 4 x 4's. That just doesn't make any sense at all.
