Thanks for sharing, didn't see the curb weight breakdowns in there - lots of good info
No, I dont think there was a curb weight specified there. But, the GVWR is the same on the gasser and diesel so comparing the cargo load ratings of the gas vs diesel should pretty much tell you the difference.

6986 S Diesel ;6276 S gas: 710 lbs difference

7256 Pro4x diesel; 6516 Pro4x gas: 740 lbs difference!

7388 SL Diesel; 6679 SL gas: 709 lbs difference

Not sure why the truck trims have varied weight differences but 700 lbs is HUGE

300+ lbs just for exhaust system
Plus DEF tank
Aluminum block 5.6 L endurance is much lighter (how much?)
Turbocharger and Intercooler.
Not sure what else...?

I get that, but shouldn't the weight difference be constant on ALL the sub models. Maybe lots of different suspension, spring setups.

The sub models have different standard equipment that causes the weight difference. For instance a power seat weights more than a manual seat due to the motors and wiring, or an upgraded stereo system has a heavier head unit and sub woofer.

That STILL doesn't explain the varied weight differences. The only way for the above scenario to work is if both the gas and diesel SV did not come with a subwoofer standard, however, a diesel pro4x gets a subwoofer standard and the gas does not.

Is there anyone that follows what I am saying???

6986 S Diesel ;6276 S gas: 710 lbs difference

7152 SV Diesel; 6441 SV gas: 711 lbs difference

7256 Pro4x diesel; 6516 Pro4x gas: 740 lbs difference

7388 SL Diesel; 6679 SL gas: 709 lbs difference

7448 PR Diesel; 6769 PR gas: 679 lbs difference

The S, SV, and PR are all within a margin of error of each other (1 lbs)
There is something else going on with the PR and Pro 4x, though.

Sorry nihilus, my mistake on what you were getting at.
It may just be misprints in the information which would not be a first.

Likely

5.0L+DieselDriveTrain - 5.6V8+GasDriveTrain = ~680lbs (min)
5.0L+4x4DieselDriveTrain - 5.6V8+4x4GasDriveTrain = ~740lbs (max)

So numbers in-between are just option differences

Well I guess all the companies ar3 guilty of typos on these. It just seems to neat that the Pro4x is exactly 30 lbs too heavy and the PR is exactly 30 lbs too light.
