Im sure to the more mechanically savvy guys on here, this probably seems like a dumb question. I am replacing my EGR cooler and so far have only been able to get it 90% released. I cannot get the last two bolts out that are closest to the engine and connect to the EGR valve. I honestly cannot even see how you can get at them. I have the coolant the coolant lines mostly removed, all other bolts removed, and the intake disconnected. WTH am I missing that I cannot finish the job? Go easy on me. I havent worked on much since tractors back in the day and now small yard stuff.

I can't see what bolts you're talking about, and I have not removed my egr yet, but I've heard of people connecting multiple extensions to one another to create a 3 foot long extension and going through the wheel well. I think you have to take the plastic wheel well out too.

You remove the EGR cooler and EGR valve as an assembly and then separate the valve from the cooler.
