A local dealer has a 2021 Platinum reserve with 8300 miles for $47.5k. I feel like this is a killer deal, but I've never owned a truck before and looking to get in the market to tow my tractor occasionally.

Most of the time it would be more of a daily driver.

Looking for experiences/feedback on anyone who owns a 2020 or newer Titan XD to see if I should pull the trigger on this.

compared to what a '23 likely costs brand new, this sounds like a great deal. hard to say without seeing the actual truck, but there isn't any difference between the '21s, '22s or '23s other than maybe the heated/cooled seat switches and I think they eliminated the traditional antennae to one of those shark fin things on the top of the roof. At least that is what I could tell from looking at a regular P4X in a showroom yesterday compared to my '21 XD P4X. How much are you looking to tow? The main reason we upgrade from a 1/2 ton F-150 to a Titan XD was for the towing experience of a 33 ft TT. Night and day difference due to the weight and length of the XD, size of brakes, frame, suspension, etc. 1/2 ton truck makers will say they can tow a billion pounds, but I have found that to be a very white knuckle driving experience especially on the interstates even with a proper WD hitch setup.

Thanks Tigerag for the feedback.

I ended up buying it last Monday. My tractor with heaviest implements attached and the trailer gets very close to the 11k lbs, but the frequency of needing to take it somewhere locally to help a friend with a project is likely once every few years. When I take the tractor for maintenance it won't have the backhoe or front end loader attached so that drops about 3k lbs off the weight.

My main hesitation on the purchase was the stories of hard shifting, but I test drove it 3 separate times and never had any issues with the 9 speed transmission.

It isn't in mint condition, but pretty darn close. The main screen appears to have had a bluish tinted protective film on it which looks like it is wearing off. I was able to make it look much better with screen cleaner. I've attached a before picture. I haven't taken the time to take any other pictures of it yet.
