What's up from PA! so I finally got the pro4x xd with Cummins diesel. I brought the truck about a month ago and I have 3 complaints. First is the truck drifts to the right, second is the rpm's flutter between 2-3 and lastly there's a kick back you can feel through the steering wheel when going over bumps. I absolutely love my truck but these issues are concerning. I've taken it back to the dealer for the drifting and they said they needed their alignment specialists to come in and take a look at it because they couldn't figure it out. Got a call from the dealer yesterday and I have it schedule for a drop off on Tuesday night because there alignment "specialist" will be there on Wednesday. I've been looking through the forms for a while now and have seen other users with the same rpm fluttering I have, said they were going to take it back to the dealer and fill us in, any new results? Besides those issues I really like the truck and get tons of compliments. I knew I was going to have some issues because is a early model I just hope nissan comes through with a fix.

Here are 2 crappy pics I was able to take. So far I have my windows blacked out, avs bug deflector along with the window guards. Iron cross patriot running boards, truxedo tonneau cover, headlights are tinted along with a overlay on the rear taillights hidding the chrome part. I also have paint protection on the bumper and hood.

Firstly, welcome to the forums ! That definitely is a darn good looking truck.

Really interested to hear what their alignment "specialist" has to say on this issue. Not too sure about the remedies to any of the others you've listed unfortunately

Never heard of tinted headlights before. How did you do that?

Had the same issue with the pull right, my dealer last week finally got the alignment specs from Nissan and checked mine; no alignment issues. They confirmed the pull which required the wheel at the 10* o-clock position to drive straight. Got my tires rotated side to side and it was isolated to a radial pull. I don't know which tire it was (push-pull) but that was ultimately the fix. My guess is that General has a batch of bad tires that's causing this.

I will definitely mention this to the service manager when I drop the truck off on tuesday, thanks.

Sweet looking XD!

As far as the flutter, I would see if they can reprogram your TCM to NTB16068. This is the latest update for the transmission and should correct your issue.

Good looking truck! Nice to see mine has a twin brother in PA (sans tinted lights, though.) Titan's are apparently not selling like hot cakes around here - my salesman told me that mine was the first the dealership had sold (although I hear they've sold at least two since then) but I have yet to see one on the road.

Sorry to hear of your steering pull issues, I was going to mention it could be tires or pressures. Mine tracks straight and true so it's not systemic.

When you say it "flutters" - do you mean revs rise and fall with no throttle input in that rev range or that it stutters/misfires? I'll have to pay more attention next time out but I haven't noticed anything to concern me yet.

If you do a search on the forum for Rpm flutter you'll actually see a video from another user. It's between 2-3 gear that it does it, during light and mild acceleration not at a shift point the rpms will drop about 200 rpm for a brief moment. It also does the same thing between 3-4 only during hard acceleration. No check engine lights or codes so I think it might need a reflash or something. I had the truck at the dealer about 2 weeks ago for my first alignment issue and brought up the fluttering and they reflashed the transmission. I definitely notice a difference with smoother shifts but the fluttering was still there. We'll see what they say on Wednesday...
