I have done some investigating on buying an older model EZLynk for my XD. Seller tells me that this tuner comes with " 7 or 8 " tunes and they are not VIN SPECIFIC. I am looking for a tuner and tunes that can help me with a diet and better fuel economy. I have an 07 GMC Sierra Classic 1 ton with an LBZ that has all the weight loss available. It is a beast. I have given all of this off topic info just to say that I know a little about dietary supplements.
My question:
Is buying an older EZLynk worth it, and are tunes transferable to other vehicles?

From my understanding the tunes are not transferable, vin specific. I may be wrong but i think im right haha

Ez Lynk cloud is vin specific. There is a way to use a memory stick or sd card or something but the documentation is vague on that. I would seek clarification.

Don’t buy it.

I had to upgrade because mine kept crashing with each update and I eventually couldn’t load tunes like I needed to. Spend the little bit extra money and get to AutoAgent2.
