I’m gathering the parts for a rear differential swap on my SV to the Pro4X locking rear diff and I’m looking to find the series or manufacturer of the rear plugs on the pumpkin. One female and one male, both are two pin. I think they are molex branded, the actual locking grey one is specially keyed and I may end up swapping it out. The black plug is for the engagement confirmation light and looks more generic. This one is built in and would be harder to replace.

Hope this helps
Thank you, I hate how manufactures use obscure connectors.
For anyone interested the plug labeled as C17 is made by Sumitomo is a 91 Series, RS model with part number 6185-0867. and plug labeled C16 is made by yazaki, and has a part number 7223653630.

I couldn't actually find any common distributor for the sumitomo, but amazon has 3rd party knock off versions. Mouser has the Yazaki plugs but I'm not confident the attached part number is correct. Picture shows three position but the description states two.

Follow up for anyone that finds this thread.

The mouser listing was wrong and that part number is for a 3 position connector. Aliexpress was the only place I could find connectors actually instock or didn't have a minimum order number.

Sumitomo - Cant find the aliexpress part number but its a Sumitomo 2.2mm 2 pin
Yazaki - 7183-7872-30

Sumitomo - Engagement indicator
Yazaki - Engagement actuator

Engagement indicator - Normally open circuit but once the engagement ring is activated, the circuit becomes closed completing the circuit. Use this for a light that is activated once the locking ring is fully engaged.

Engagement actuator - this requires battery voltage on a switch and has polarity. The unpowered state is open, and a constant voltage is required for the ring to stay engaged. The factory Fuse is 10 amps, which seems to be overkill. Be careful if you pull the male side out of the differential, its a tight fit and has an oring for sealing. Its very easy to break the mounting tab, and no idea if Nissan will sell just that part. Its the black plug in the first attached picture to this thread.

Wiring harness - has to be custom but a normally open relay would be best, incase it fails, you wont destroy the locker. if anyone is interested, I can sketch up a diagram of my planned wiring harness. You could wire everything to a direct on off switch, but I prefer to use relays in switched applications like this.

Yes please a wiring diagram have you been able to make it work or still working on it
Ok I’ll sketch one up tonight or tomorrow. I got the pro4x diff installed today. I’ll also post up some pictures of it installed. Took maybe 3 or 4 hours but I was also installing a lift so that slowed me down some.
I was actually able to bench test the locker while it was on stands in my drive way. The locker just wants battery voltage to engage. I will have to wait for my plugs from aliexpress to show up before I can fully wire it into the truck and build a custom harness.

Couple of updates for any one interested.

If you manage to break the black housing in the first picture, Nissan does sell it. Part number 24347-1LB0B, I was quoted 100+ dollars from my local dealer.

I also went ahead and created a ghetto wiring diagram for my planned harness. I'm not really sure how many people will do this swap but I would like to use this thread as a repository for anyone foolish like my self that does it. I've seen a few other threads asking if its possible but no real rock solid information. unfortunately this is the only option for someone wanting a locking rear diff and didn't buy a pro4x.

update with a few pictures.

Everything lined up except for one parking brake mount. Not sure if it was a difference due to model year or trim level. If you look at the first attached picture, the factory 2016 mount tab is on the left side of the brake line distribution block. On the 2017 the tab is on the right hand side of the distribution block. I've started working on the wiring harness, once thats done I will post some pictures.
