Has anyone looked into "moving" certain display items on XD screens. For instance, is there a way to get the outside temperature to display on the NAV screen as opposed to the information center in front of the driver? This way, everyone in the truck can see it.

To even try to do this would require knowing the proprietary coding from Nissan and THEN being able to reprogram the system w/o screwing up other programming & reroute the display data & reprogram/rebuild a display graphic.

Much easier to just find an independent sensor to mount outside the cab then a display you could mount inside that would not look too out of place, perhaps up by the overhead console?

Thanks. I don't know why in this advanced age of software programming that the system can't be written to allow the user to make choices of what goes where. There is PLENTY of room on the NAV screen for other data or at least to enlarge some of the ICONs so you can see them easier like the Bluetooth symbol, cell strength etc.
