On the old Titan the side steps bolt onto the frame. The top bolt is already attached to the body and the bottom bolt goes through the bracket into the body. The top bolt only need a nut and washer. On the XD the top bolt isn't attached to the body, so you will need 2 bolts per bracket that go through the bracket into the frame.
