To answer your question the sensor in on the driver's side of the trans near the rear, one bolt and a 2 wire plug. Takes 2 min to remove
I thought that as well so I emailed the tuner and asked them to look into it and they told me they don’t do transmission tunes and I should take it to a transmission specialist so I’m at a standstill there.Another question till consider is whether the EZ-Link or other monitoring device/ software ia correctly interpreting the signal.
IF the monitor expects the signal to be within a certain range AND the signal is actually calibrated to provide a much higher signal strength ratio then as soon as the raw signal exceeds what the monitor was looking for it will read it's max interpretation, in this case 6k.

where is the output speed sensor located ?If you have the manuals, here is where you may want to look
P0715 INPUT SPEED SENSOR A ............. TM-114
P0716 INPUT SPEED SENSOR A ............. TM-117
P0717 INPUT SPEED SENSOR ATM-119, TM-377
P0720 OUTPUT SPEED SENSORTM-121, TM-379
P0721 OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR.............TM-124
P0722 OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR.............TM-126
The input speed sensor is located on top of the transmission just behind the bell housing.
Hey Josh, have you figured a solution to the problem you’ve been having yet? My Titan is doing the exact same thing. I’m deleted with the easy link and it goes right to 6k too. Also revs high out of 3rd and bangs into 4th. Really hoping to find the solution. I’m also getting a u1000 code and c1a03Thanks for the quick response. It’s not throwing a code but I have the ez-lynk autoagent and I have noticed my transmission output speed stays at 6,000 rpm. When it shows 6000 I have irregular shifting in 3rd to 4th. When it shows normal readings the transmission shifts fine.
So I never did find a solution I would say, what I did was unhooked both the batteries and let it sit all weekend.I changed the transmission fluid( make sure you put the same back in as you take out) I reflashed it to 60hp tune and drove like a normal person for about 2 weeks and it kind of fixed itself. The output sensor still shows 6k as soon as I push the throttle but it quit doing the slip out of third into fourth. I’m at 137k miles and hasn’t done it again. I think when I had the issue I was sitting about 60-70k miles.Hey Josh, have you figured a solution to the problem you’ve been having yet? My Titan is doing the exact same thing.
