I have a 2017 XD pro 4X king cab. At 70 mph, is 2000 rpm the normal range?
Anyone have the same issue?

I have a 2018 diesel and 2k gets me right about 75-76mph. I've got the factory 20" wheels/tires which might be just a hair larger in diameter than the 18" on the P4X?

You can go to this website: Gearing Calculator | RPM and Tire Diameter to km/h - mph with Shift Tracer and input your tire, transmission and rear end specs and it will calculate for you what the speed would be at any given RPM. It's actually pretty cool. With the diesel Aisin tranny and 20" wheels, mine actually came out to 79mph at 2,000 RPM which after thinking about it more, is probably right. I know I said 75-76 but that might have been a little low. Anyway, it's fun to mess with that data anyway.

I have an '18 5.6 XD. Mine sits right at 2-2100 at 70. It does seem high as most trucks I've driven at 70 they're 1700-1800 rpms.
