I have been looking for options with utiltrack and tool box in the way for a ladder rack for canoe. I have a brand new thule Xt that I had on f150 that won't work on this truck. The only real option I have found so far is this Rola rack. Do any you of have experiences with it?

Never heard of Rola Rack before, but it has decent reviews on Amazon. I really like the idea of this. With my previous trucks, they all had a camper shell and factory installed Thule racks on them.

Been looking for something similar myself to use as the base for a roof top tent (don't want mine on the roof). Have you have seen something line this that uses the bed floor utilitrack instead of the sides? I would like the crossbars to be just a little higher then the sides of the bed, this way when the tent is collapsed it will be below the roof line.

Solid rack. I had it on my Ram 1500. I made my own utilitrak on the ram using parts from the hardware store. Traveled with two sea kayaks from TX to WA and back with zero issues. Well except for one, someone stole it one dark and rainy night.

If you could find a regular ladder rack that will extend past the channel, you could use channel spring nuts to secure it.

These guys fit perfect in our utili-trak channels

I have the sliding tool box and would also like a rack for the utilitrak. Nissan used to offer a mounting bracket so you could use both together. I've never seen one, only read about them. Anybody know how it worked or have a picture? Also, does Rola make a bike carrier for the rack that doesn't require me to remove my front wheel? I have a Cannondale Lefty and that's not an option.

Check out Kindorf, Uni Strut, B-Line. These manufacturers make all kinds of brackets and fittings for the track system. Parts and channel are available in galvanized steel, aluminum, stainless steel and fiberglass.

We made these to go into the stake pockets and then used our existing Yakima bars and attachments for our kayaks. Great money saver if you can weld or know someone who can. What we paid for the steel is a heck of a lot better than 400 or more for some of the ones I have seen from Yakima, Thule etc.

Just bumping this thread to see if anyone out there has used the Rola Racks or something similar? I'm looking to find something easily removable like the Rola Racks to transport a small 10-12ft boat while I tow my travel trailer. Leaving the boat hanging out of the truck bed is not an option.

Ideas, pictures, comments, thoughts??

I was hoping Bak Industries would have a carrier/box cover. I spoke to them yesterday and they say nothing in the pipeline.I waited a long time for the combo for my 09 Titan. There must be something. I really like the Bak product
