How did yall empty def tank in the truck , and do I need to unplug electrical on def tank itself ? Assuming I should leave egr plugged up from what I've read on here until it gets removed entirely
Mine DEF tank is still in there, probably a bunch of nasty DEF still in it too... adds what? 10 lbs? I'll pull that stuff out eventually, but it isn't high on the priority list.

Yeah. I seen that. I'll get everything together. Cft egr delete with their ic pipes and cai.
The way most of us look at it...the delete is the warranty. Once the truck no longer has to waste fuel trying to recycle waste in the soot cooker, the truck begins to breathe again and the engine begins to clean out built up carbon. You spend the money on the delete so you don't have to use the warranty...

Depends on the tune. A bad tune is worse for the engine than the emissions components.

Almost all of the tunes do not actually shut off all the emissions, they just block the codes. Any tune that uses a soft switch is not doing the combustion math correctly, as there is only one engine mode that calculates without egr correctly.

The 0hp tune I had originally bought massively overdrives the turbos and would eventually result in failure of the high pressure turbo if not both. Also likely to pop the rotary valve actuator as well.

I have the dreaded egr coolant leak and I have been thinking about doing a full delete on my truck. Unfortunately I don't have the skills to do it myself, any advice as to where I can find a shop that does this type of work would be very helpful. I live in Kenosha Co. Wisconsin.

Do you not have the skills, or not have the tools, or not have the physical capacity?
