Same! We have a lot of Lenco Bearcats where I work. All generations ranging from 7.3L, 6.0, 6.4, and 6.7. The 7.3 and deleted from the manufacturer 2016+ 6.7 are our most reliable bearcats. The 6.0, 6.4, and 6.7 are pretty trash with constant issues involving EGR, DPF, and DEF. I don’t give a shit about other people’s opinion when it comes to this topic, the DOD allowing us to have all of our diesels non complaint to emissions after trying it for 5 years is probably evidence enough.

Which I could be wrong about the deleted from the manufacturer part. I’m not sure at what echelon the vehicle is deleted. Could be from Ford, Lenco, DOD, ect but non of the egr block off plates or exhaust have any manufacturer logos on it. There is a spot for a DEF filler tube but no filler tube.

By that argument, the murder of a police officer in another state wont affect you either...or robbing a bank or identity theft, rape (of someone you dont know) are you kidding me?

so laws dont matter if they dont prevent anyone from being harmed....

are you serious? do you live in a community? are you a law abiding citizen?

wtf is wrong with you? laws dont apply to you? are they merely suggestions?

I already said I dont agree with the law.

I am not equating deleting your truck to murdering a police officer, to be clear!

but you said I should not give a f unless Iam personally affected...that is obviously complete BS!

There are many laws I dont agree with. Does that mean I have a right to break it/them?
I bet you were an awesome hall monitor.

Tampering with emissions equipment (aka deleting) is a federal crime. What on earth makes you think that comitting such a crime would not void your warranty?

Am I missing something? People could potentially go to jail for deleting their trucks, fined at the very least, if caught by the law. Police are getting wise, hence the tuners shutting down, and can bust you in ANY state as it is a federal crime. Whether it is a warning, fix it ticket, citation or simply an excuse/reason to pull you over and harass you. Even in states that do not do emissions testing.
This guy has to be a troll foe the epa. This is not his only post like this. Go away. Get a life.

I am having the same problem. After a few hours of driving and being deleted , I had the same symptoms as the OP
But the only problem is I have 2016
At around 65k miles
HPP soft 4
Ouch... Good luck to you. I, no longer, like HPP. What oil (brand/type) do you use?

And straight pipe is back on. The only different is that this time, it pairs with PD. Much better in my opinion.
Side note: It will never see level 4/5 on the road. For now, I'm running Level 1 as daily. Occasionally, it'll get Level 3.
So far, engine has been quiet. I'm trying to listen to how the engine runs but have not noticed any strange sounds (yet).
Very well handled, not luck.
I run PD soft 5 emissions tune as my daily driver with my idrive set on U9. Love the tune and I am not afraid to use level 5. When I pull my boat or heavily loaded I use level 1. Not 1 complaint about PD awesome 2nd choice.

I’m referring to the dude that said his crankshaft is connected to his drive shaft. If you can’t tell the two apart don’t delete… in fact take the truck back snd buy a Hyundai
Oh okay 😂 misunderstood. I’ve daily driven mine for the past 23k miles on a 125hp tune. Guy must have been being really really stupid or something. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 93k miles total on my truck.

I'm wondering if there are any drawbacks to running level 5 with a straight pipe after I address an oil leak.

Also, has anyone identified the failure point in the injector harness? This would be wonderful to prevent or at least inspect.

Found out the hard way, guys.

If you have EZLynk and SOTF, DON'T run on Level 5.

I had only run it on #5 a couple of times. After each one, my engine sounds a whole lot harder with heavier diesel tick tick sounds. I remember I asked the question on here once and someone responded that the more the truck broken in, the harder the diesel sound you'll get.

Last weekend, I changed my oil to Shell T6 (and I don't think this is the problem). On Monday, as I was driving to work, I hear the sound as hard as I've been having. However, along the way, I see the oil light started to flicker, only for a couple of seconds. When I got to work, I checked on my oil level, it only shows 1/5 pass my lowest. Hence, I filled another quart, make it 11 qts of oil. On Tuesday, yesterday, out of the house for 5 miles, and BRAMMMM... The engine sounded like the excavator is shaking its scoop. Then the truck was limp mode, only able to move at 1 mph. I was able to pull in the Home Depot parking lot. As soon as I parked, the truck shut off. I waited about 10 minutes and tried to start it again. It was so loud and so much of cracking noise that I turned it off right away. Called for tow. Trust me, you don't want to hear that sound too long.

I had it towed home, undone my delete, and call the dealer for warranty work on the engine. Dealer sent a tow truck to tow to the dealer.

Have not heard back from the dealer yet. Crossing my fingers...

Good to hear that. Maybe mine was one in the bad patch (crank shaft). Mine has been running solid now (knock on wood), but still, I don’t want to take a chance.

It doesn’t really matter, it’ll break if you do or don’t run it on a hot tune. It’ll all about if you got a good one or not. I’m sure there is some sort of reason, like a certain way some cranks get made.

Can they prove owner is at faulr for low content of oil? What was the amount of oil drained from the pan measured to be after drained to have a look-see of internal lower engine condition. They don't have it, and are lying if said so. The mechanic will be questioned under oath if it was measured by your attnys if not stated on his report concerning observed engine failure cause, if that's what they are saying. techzpod download mobdro
