Coming along nicely, bit of a bummer about those gauges not being able to dim. It’s a pain that every manufacturer is different. Mine are backlit all the time as they have a 12v ignition input for the backlight and gauge power. The dimming wire just taps into the headlight circuit and dims once it receives 12v on that dimming wire, apparently by 30% according to the fitting sheet that came with them.

I agree each manufacturer is different! I know the ISSPRO gauges are one of the best precision made gauges out there, so I went with them.
There is not backlighting on these gauge UNTIL the headlights come on but that’s okay, I’m fine with that.
Now I just need to get under the hood and get the up pipe on and boost sensor installed. I’m going to install the boost sensor in the same spot you did I think.
Thanks

I was really hoping you guys would solve the dimmer. I want my gauges tied to the instrument cluster brightness… I’ll have to do much more digging when I finally get into it

Trust me, you and me both! I spent at least 5 hours chasing down wiring to try and make it work. At the end of the day, the blue wire was the only option.

Well yours is one of the most impressive installs, but it's your pictures and write up that really stand out. I'm a bit nervous I won't come close when I finally get around to installing my gauge. Very impressive...

Though I have to find dimming, my eyes are very light sensitive, especially at night... I really want my gauge on par with the rest of the instrument cluster.

Made a little progress today and finished the BOOST gauge install. I did like BODS install and removed the EGR TEMP SENSOR on the underside of the intake horn. I did buy a M14x1.5 - 1/8” 27 NPT stainless steel reducing bushing to adapt the electric boost sensor to the intake horn. I also used a copper M14 crush washer and torqued the stainless steel adapter to 30 ft lbs. Since I had the intake horn off I when ahead and replaced both o-ring gaskets (1 red and 1 black) on either end of the intake horn. I will post pictures of them along with Nissan part numbers in a picture. All the 10mm head bolts are torqued to 13 ft lbs and the 8mm head bolts torqued to 71 in lbs. As far as the wiring goes I just followed and zip tied the boost gauge harness to the factory wiring harness on right side of the intake horn. I took some pictures of the gauge showing the boost pressure at 60 mph which was around 8-9 psi of boost.
